Olive Tree Design Build was born from my vision to transform the home design and construction experience.
As a woman in a predominantly male industry, I saw an opportunity to bring a fresh perspective, so I created a firm that not only delivers stunning, functional homes but also empowers clients to feel confident and involved in the process.
I love working with families who want to design a home that tells their story, blending character and visionary design with practical functionality. Spaces that are not only beautiful but can handle the evolution of your family life - from taco Tuesday dinner to wow-worthy hosting events.
When I'm not sketching dream home designs, you'll find me tending to my army of 100+ houseplants. Yes, I have an Excel sheet for them. No, I'm not ashamed.

Olivia Balis is from St. Louis, Missouri, and is currently an Architectural Studies-Interior Design student at the University of Missouri. At the beginning of her junior year, she joined the Olive Tree Design Build team, where she has thoroughly enjoyed gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic world of design. Immersing herself in the behind-the-scenes workings of a luxury design business has not only deepened her understanding of the industry but has also ignited her passion for crafting exquisite, thoughtful spaces.
