We’re delighted to introduce Olive Tree’s latest collaboration with Southern Gent Candle Company: a partnership rooted in shared values of craftsmanship, refinement, and intentional living.

Southern Gent is known for its sophisticated approach to scent, offering modern, masculine fragrances inspired by the South and designed to elevate any space.

Just outside Columbia, the charming town of Rocheport is home to Southern Gent Candle Company, and it has long been a favorite stop of ours. Each visit feels personal and welcoming, from conversations with Caitlyn–the founder of Southern Gent as well as the Southern Provisions boutique–to the familiar presence of Juniper, the shop’s beloved dog.

When the opportunity to collaborate arose, it felt like a natural fit. From the beginning, the goal was to create a scent that reflected the essence of Olive Tree: elevated yet approachable, refined yet livable. Caitlyn thoughtfully prepared several blends for us to experience, allowing the process to be as intentional as the final product.

Our first signature candle, Élevé, blends cedar, citrus, and sandalwood: layered, warm, and timeless. It’s designed to complement a beautifully designed space without overpowering it, adding a subtle sense of luxury to everyday moments.

Inspired by the season and the art of hosting, we also created a second candle: Winter Fir. With notes of heliotrope, tonka, and pine, it brings a cozy, welcoming atmosphere perfect for gatherings, celebrations, and quiet winter evenings at home.
