The Story
This project brought together two of our passions: solving complex design challenges and collaborating with local businesses. Columbia Orthopedic Group partnered with Love Coffee, and we were tasked with creating a sleek, modern coffee bar that would seamlessly integrate into COG’s existing space, making it both functional and inviting.
The Desire
With limited space to work with, the goal was to create an inviting, cozy coffee nook that maximized efficiency for both customers and workers. The goal was to create a spot where visitors could easily grab premade food and drinks, while still having room for staff to move around comfortably.

The Transformation
We transformed a small area into a sleek, modern coffee bar that serves as the perfect spot for patients and visitors to grab a drink. By incorporating smart layouts, we were able to fit all the necessary equipment, create space for three workers, and even hide elements like the TV screen that drops down from the ceiling. The white textured tile wall, combined with black fixtures added depth and visual interest to the space, while the curved countertop gave the coffee nook a cozy, welcoming vibe. The laser-chiseled granite sign and thoughtful materials brought the neutral palette to life, making this commercial space both efficient and beautiful.
